Cool Springs Meat Processing has been feeding the local community since 1976. As an independent Meat Processing Shop, we have developed relationships with exceptional farmers to bring the best service and quality products to you and your family.
In addition to being a USDA facility, our cattle are Step 4 of the G.A.P. 5-Step Animal Welfare Rating Standards. What does this mean exactly?
G.A.P certification for beef cattle means that the animals were raised without antibiotics, growth hormones, and animal by-products in their feed. There are five G.A.P certification levels (1-5), and each comes with its own set of standard practices. Other guidelines include the amount of time spent grazing, whether animals have shelter and enrichment, and weaning protocols.
Alleghany Farmer's Market
Saturdays, May-October
The Alleghany Farmer's Market is open every Saturday, 9am-1pm from May 1-October 31, Pure Farms will have a spot here. The Market is located at 4495 NC 18 in Sparta, NC. During the off season, you can place an order with us here online, by phone, or email and we will be at the Market for delivery on Saturday mornings.
We have moved! We are no longer located in Elkin. Our new plant is located at the end of Disher Road in Yadkinville.

The Pure Farm Project is a year-round farm that offers the community a variety of fresh farm products. We specialize in all natural beef, but offer customers so much more. At The Pure Farm Project we feel incredibly blessed that we get to serve our Lord and Savior and honor His work on our farm in a way that is pure and natural. Our family wants to educate our community on what it means to have all natural products with an open door policy that welcomes all to see our operation and how we can fulfill God’s plan for this land we have been given.
